Ahound the world

Another great book about dogs! Ahound the world - the tail of a dog called Oscar who went on an exciting grand tour of the world to promote dog adoptions from dog shelters. Helen and Paul gave it to the Food Lady who has been reading it to the exclusion of taking us for walkies! I hope she is planning a trip for us.

Heroes

Rose, who comes here to look after the patients who come to consult the Alpha Male when he works from home, sent me these photos of the canine heroes of 9/11 in far off USA. They are from a book by Charlotte Dumas. Scout and an unknown dog in the rubble at Ground Zero - just two of nearly 100 search and rescue dogs who helped search for survivors on 9/11 in New York.
