Pink poodles and other bling

Sunday morning and two hopeful idiots.
We were in luck. After dropping Wyndham off at his conference at the Waterfront, we went for a stroll along the beach at Mouille Point.
Things looked promising,
and we even bumped into another Scottie in a pink jacket. But she wasn't too friendly although her Basset brother was super happy to see us.
After a beach walk, we emerged onto the promenade where there are some interesting arty benches,
a red and white striped lighthouse,
a little train behind a fence,
some kayakers,
good smells and views of Lions Head and Signal Hill,
and although we were not allowed back onto the beach here,
there was plenty to keep us busy. You can tell how posh this place is by the bling jogging shoes.
We had to try out this blingy pink poodle bench!
And Harvey really wanted a photo of himself with these giant sunglasses.
So the Food Lady obliged.
Harvey also loved these young chaps, but Lad was more interested in their dogs.
Then we fetched Wyndham and went to visit Penny and her elegant dog, Luna. Laddie was smitten. And so was Harvey. As you can see, I was completely uninterested and could only think of my lunch waiting for me at home.
So we took a group photo and said cheerio to the gorgeous Penny and the beautiful Luna in their stylish digs and took Wyndham to the airport.
Then home to food, barking at geese on the roof, and some paw-up.
