Dear Coco

We were sorry that we couldn't take you both with us to Johannesburg to visit Luna and Streak, but its quite difficult to organize dogs on aeroplanes. But this is Luna in her garden, which is beautifully decorated because in Johannesburg there is no southeaster wind so you can have Christmas decorations outside.
Here is Streak posing on the Persain rug.
Luna sends her love, but she is coming to Cape Town with David and Gordon soon so you will be able to renew your friendship.
Luna in her elegant home
that she shares with some mice,
and a Fox Terrier.
We went exploring the streets of Linden with David and Luna while Gordon put the finishing touches to the wedding venue. The Alph bought a wooden citroen DS from a Zimbabwean man who had the most interesting things for sale.
That evening we went to dinner with Sandy and Leon and two distinguished looking Labradors.
The next day was Mathew and Kalene's wedding. This is a Scottish bagpiper warming up for the wedding. How Laddie would have howled along with him!

Matthew and Kalene with various members of their family after the wedding ceremony.
It was a beautiful setting for a wedding - with lovely gardens and beautiful wedding guests.
And a KAT wedding cake!
There was lots of dancing - here is Gordon and Kalene - and all in all, it was a lovely occasion.
The next day we chilled a bit in David and Gordon's garden,
and Streak lay on her leopard print bed. Johannesburg is just uber-stylish!
The Alph and I had breakfast at an Argentinian café,
and found a chap called Webster who makes beaded dogs to order.
Phil and Kerryn sent us some photos of Harvey at Suiderstrand. I hoped you weren't missing him too much. We will be home very soon so be good and look after Leticia till we get back later.
Lots of love from the Food Lady
